If you meet someone who is a master at their craft, you can almost guarantee they started it before the age of 18. Young people have a great aptitude for mastering skills, and it is the heart of this class to teach and inspire the upcoming generation to explore their talents and interests while mastering skills that will enrich their entire lives.

These classes are taught by husband and wife team, Matt and Sarah Singer, and their three children.

Matt Singer is a Master electrician, Air Force veteran, farmer and an expert at the details of any project. He is the owner of Singer Electric, which he started in 2019, and has the desire to teach young men the skills necessary to build and maintain a homestead.

Sarah Singer is the homeschooling mother of three, has worked as a college foreign language instructor, junior high teacher, counselor, and has been a music tutor for over 20 years. She has raised the family garden since she was 13 years old and carries the passion to pass on the skills which have been invested in her to the young people of her community.

Parents are welcome to stay for class. Please do not allow small children to disrupt the older students’ learning time, and please be respectful of private property and other students while you are a guest on our farm. We reserve the right to dismiss a student or student family at our discretion.
