Meet the Singers
Matt and Sarah Singer live on a self-sustaining farm in beautiful central Arkansas.

Sarah’s grandfather—a Texas farm boy turned WWII combat Marine—picked cotton and worked as a ranch hand to buy this land for the high price of $15 an acre. Now surrounded by rural land quickly turning suburban, the little farm continues to be an oasis for wildlife and history. An old stagecoach road and the Trail of Tears pass through the land. Old cabin sites, wells, and arrowheads silently remind of the past.
Through all-natural growing methods, a little front porch Bluegrass music, and lots of labor, Matt and Sarah desire to steward this land well and to pass on the love of rural life and self-sustaining living to their children and community. Three beautiful young Singers are the fourth generation to live on this farm and the motivation to preserve and pass on the lessons of the past to the generations of the future.
