Comfrey is a fast growing, prolific herbal plant with many wonderful and is historically known as the "knitbone herb".
Used to make tinctures and poultices for sprains, broken bones, bruises (according to the FDA it is for topical use only)
Great fodder for nursing cows and goats, boosting their milk supply and giving them a nutritional boost
Living compost source, laying its large, prolific leaves around the base of other plants to fertilize them
Enjoys moist soil and care to start

If you order between November and April, we will ship your order for spring planting.
If you order between April and October, we will ship your order for fall planting.
How to Grow:
Plant in spring or early fall.
To plant, bury roots horizontally about 3”-4” deep in weed-free, fertile soil. Leaves should emerge soon.
Keep watered and weeded until well-established.
Comfrey will come back every year once established.
